The 2008 Ford Expedition comes with minor changes, following its redesign in 2007. The full-sized sport utility vehicle is offered in four trim versions, namely the base model XLT, Eddie Bauer, new King Ranch and Limited.
The 2008 Ford Expedition receives variations on the exterior, features a new four bar grille. The key features that mark the 2008 version are its trailer towing capability and passenger and cargo room. On the other hand, it has low fuel economy rates than the other models in its class. All the models have the seating capacity to accommodate up to 8-passengers. It is offered in rear wheel drive and it has the maximum towing capacity of 9200 lbs.

The only engine available to the 2008 Ford Expedition model include a SOHC V8 version that delivers 300 hp of power at 5000 rpm and torque of 365 lb ft at 3750 rpm. The engine is mated to 6-speed automatic transmission.
