This new upcoming version will be introduced in three different trims- Eddie Bauer, Base, and XLT.
The base model of Expedition will be packed with a 4.8 liter V8 engine, whereas the remaining models use a 5.4 liter V8 engine that develops more power. This vehicle offers a secure feel to its passengers with curtain side airbags, a crash alerting system, and a stability control system.
Release Date and Price
Until now, the automaker has not revealed any information about the release date of the new Expedition. But, it is expected that the vehicle will be released in early 2012.
Coming to pricing details, the estimated price is in the range of $39,000-$54,000. 2012 Expedition will compete with Nissan Armada, Sequoia, and Toyota Tundra. The new Expedition model will be shorter than its competitors.
