Recall due to Defective Fuel System

2006 Expedition with fuel system problems were recalled on June13, 2006. Certain aftermarket fuel filters sold under the famous brand name P/N F65277 were designed incorrectly. Due to this the quick connector was not attached fully with the tube interface. This may lead to fuel leakage and a fire could occur.

Around 58640 numbers of vehicles were affected by such problems. The authorized dealers were instructed to replace the filters free of cost.

Recall Due to Problem in Exterior Lighting

Ford has recalled around 4029 units of 2006 Expedition vehicles. The exterior-lighting on the above listed passenger vehicles were insufficient illuminate headlights and reflectors.

The combination lamps were not equipped properly with amber side reflectors. The result was light visibility reduction to other drivers. This may result in a vehicle crash.

Recall Due to Combinational Lights

Few Trade-sonic-manufactured combination lamps were purchased as the replacement lamps for the vehicle.

This combinational lamp doesn’t come with amber side reflectors. The lamps equipped in the vehicle failed to meet the requirements of vehicle safety standards associated to reflective devices, lamps, and equipments. The vehicle was recalled on July 17th 2006.

Lack of side reflectors in the combinational lamps could decrease the visibility for the drivers and in turn cause vehicle crash. Owners may contact the lamp dealers- Trade-sonic at 626-934-8884.

Remedy

Trade-sonic notified the vehicle owners and replaced the combinational lamps. The vehicle recall started in the year 2006.
